Backpack Food Programs

UE5G — Russellville

At the Journey, Russellville, we have adopted the UE5G (upper elementary 5th grade) school.  This year 64% of the children at the UE5G live in poverty.  The Journey provides and packs food for these children for each weekend throughout the school year!  We are currently packing 70 bags a week, which provides food for 200 children each weekend!  This is done through the generosity of donations from the journey members.

You can make you nonperishable food donation to the UE5G backpack program at the Russellville Campus when you visit a weekend service, or on Monday-Thursday, 9am-3pm.

Lamar Backpack Program — Clarksville

At The Journey-Clarksville Campus, we have adopted the Lamar Backpack Program at the Lamar High School. Through great generosity, there are 24 students that every weekend are sent home with a backpack filled so that they will have food to eat!

You can make you nonperishable food donation to the Lamar backpack program at the Clarksville Campus when you visit a weekend service.
